Many thanks to the City of Edinburgh Council, the L&G Neighbourhood Partnership, the Big Lottery Fund and Forth Environment Link for providing financial backing for projects connected with the Park.

We've been up and running  as a group for over 10 years. We constituted ourselves in 2010. and in that time there have been substantial improvements to the Park Benches and picnic tables have been, goal posts erected, installed, garden plots dug and planted with perennials, name-stones put in place and school children have planted bulbs in November each year from 2010 to 2013 They have also planted wild flowers. The most recent addition has been a multi-gym to as an aid to fitness for all.

A ‘young team’ from Domino Pizza’s carried out autumn and spring clean-ups in 2011 and 2012, Lots more improvements are on the way!  Pathways have been upgraded.  A new metal bridge across the Stenhouse Burn adds significantly to the accessibility of the Park for all users.

In November 2014, a very young pine tree was planted and is doing fine.  Display notice boards provide information on the diversity of plants, birds and and animals to be spotted in the Park.

In October 2015 we were presented with a  'thriving ' certificate by taking part in the 'It's Your Neighbourhood' assessment project run by Keep Scotland Beautiful on behalf of the RHS.
